Who am i?

I’m an English writer of Sri Lankan heritage, born and brought up in London. I’ve been writing my whole life, starting with rewriting the endings to my favourite children’s stories, breezing through my teens with frankly embarrassing Dempsey and Makepeace fan fiction and trying my hand at YA until I decided to do a Masters in Creative Writing at Brunel University. Here I was free to try my hand at different genres and finally settled on women’s fiction. Women are endlessly fascinating. We take on so many roles in our lives, our bodies and minds are in a constant state of flux and there are so many stories of growth or destruction to tell.

Like my characters, I’m still figuring out life, trying new things, taking those leaps, making mistakes. I hope that you’ll take a leap with me…..
